Out in the twilight zone as the leaves of summer prepare to fall an official spokeswomen for the Monster Raving Loony party denied Boris de Piffle had applied to stand as an official Loony at the coming election.
An insider, on condition of anonymity, told Newsnet the approach had been more of a proposed takeover and merger to establish a new party to be registered as the ConBrexitLunatic party.

In more recent news the Court of Session in Edinburgh has determined the proroguing of parliament is illegal and that the reasons are not as stated. It is not unusual for the actions of a government to be deemed unlawful by the courts of the land. What is especially relevant is a government without a majority in parliament has pushed through prorogation by executive order, lied about the true reason and lied to the Queen.
